The annual Pedigree® & Whiskas® Dubai Pet Show is the largest event of its kind in the Middle East. The aim of this event is to bring us closer to the wonderful world of pet ownership. The show is open to the general public and is designed to encourage visitors to interact with animals, and each others, in order to gain better understanding of the lovely canine and feline population we share our world with, and who enrich our lives in numerous ways.

The main benefactors of the Pedigree® & Whiskas® Dubai Pet Show are the local dog and cat aid organizations which are surviving solely on charitable donations and care of the public.

K9 Friends is a Dubai based non-profit dog rescue organization dedicated to the salvation of canines in need – either those who have been abandoned, wounded, or whose owners could not keep them anymore. K9 Friends provide veterinary treatments, temporary housing and care until these lovely canines are able to find new loving homes.

Sharjah Cat and Dog Shelter (Sharjah CADS) was founded thanks to the generosity of His Royal Highness Sheikh Sultan bin Mohamed Al-Qasimi, member of the Supreme Council of the United Arab Emirates and ruler of Sharjah, with the assistance of Sharjah Municipality under His Highness’s direction. The aim of the shelter is to create a welcoming home-away-from-home for homeless cats and dogs within the Sharjah community. Both these organizations have been an integral part of our ongoing efforts to raise awareness of the importance of animal welfare at large and involve the community in this noble initiative.
