We are excited to welcome you to our brand new and improved Dubai Pet Show website.

Here you will find a wealth of information about all the activities taking place at the Pedigree® & Whiskas® Dubai Pet Show which will allow you to plan for a fun day out for the whole family to enjoy and learn more about dogs and cats.

So, it is with great pride and joy that I welcome you once again to the 22nd Pedigree® & Whiskas® Dubai Pet Show, the biggest and only Pet Show in the Middle East that will take place at Dubai Festival City on Friday 29th January 2010.

As every year, we are always trying to improve the event to make it even more enjoyable and fun for everyone - milies and pets alike.

The good old favourites, of course, are the central features of the show, including the Pedigree® Classes, police dog demonstrations and many other exciting events. The judging will be serious and the competitions intense with world-renowned judges Mrs. Freda Marshall and Mr. Dominic Browne joining us from the UK. We are preparing a myriad of fun competitions for everyone to enjoy such as Dog Fancy Dress, and Dog like its owner, to name a few.

In addition, we are holding Dog and Cat Educational Forums to help pet owners take better care of their canine and feline friends. We will have a quick dog health check station for dog owners to ensure their dogs are in optimum health.

There will be a bigger and improved Craft Fair, a Kids Entertainment Zone including bouncy castles, face painting and some amazing games, to make sure the entire family is having great fun. We are also making improvements to the catering and providing more seating areas so that everyone can enjoy a great lunch at Dubai’ s favourite family day.

For the second year, the event is being held in Dubai Festival City due to on-going refurbishment of the Nad Al Sheba venue. We will be located at Dubai Festival City concert venue opposite Toys R Us as per last year event’s location. This location is great for outdoor events and it is easily accessible and provides ample parking facilities.

We will ask all visitors coming to the event to support K9 Friends, our favourite dog charity organisation in Dubai.. Therefore we will have a nominal AED 10 entrance fee per adult, and children will enter for free. We trust that you will agree with this approach as the Pedigree® & Whiskas® Dubai Pet Show remains a non-profit event and our only objective is to assist our animal friends in need.

At 2009 Dubai PetShow, we raised a whopping AED 71,000 for Feline Friends and K9 Friends through the entrance fees, the dog competitions and the activities carried on the day, and 6 cats and 4 dogs found new homes.
