The annual PEDIGREE® & WHISKAS® Dubai Pet Show is the only show of its kind in the Middle East. Now in its 25^th year, the show has become an integral part of the Middle East’s cat and dog-loving community, and is eagerly looked forward to, year after year, by the animal loving public of all ages. Each year, these enthusiasts get together to have fun, learn new tips and tricks about how to better care for their beloved pets, exchange valuable pet experiences and just have a great day out the whole family can enjoy.

The aim of the show is to teach adults and children about many aspects of responsible pet ownership, find loving homes for pets in need, educate the interested public about the various ways of pet selection and training and help people better understand and appreciate these wonderful creatures who make our lives richer and happier.

In addition to the amazing full-day program of workshops, games and competitions the PEDIGREE® & WHISKAS® Dubai Pet Show has to offer, we are thrilled to say we now have a perfect venue for the event. The show is back for a third year at 7HE SEVENS, a wonderfully green, vast area where dogs can play and families can enjoy a fun day out.

The 25^th annual PEDIGREE® & WHISKAS® Dubai Pet Show will take place on February 8^th 2013.

The PEDIGREE® & WHISKAS® Dubai Pet Show still remains a non-profit event and our top priority is to assist our animal friends in need.

PEDIGREE Ring classes, competitions, the Police Dog demonstrations, Educational Forums and many other exciting events will again be the central features of the show and always draw a lot of interest among the visitors. This year, we have added a few new exciting competitions for our visitors.

The PEDIGREE Pet Health Centre & WHISKAS Tent will cover the topics of nutrition, training, health and adoption in view of helping pet owners take better care of their canine and feline friends. We are, as always, grateful for the continuous support from our guest speakers from Waltham®, the world’s leading authority on pet care and nutrition, as well as local vets and animal caregivers.

Dubai Municipality’s quick Dog Health Check Station is also a regular hot spot and provides valuable up-to-date advice about United Arab Emirates legal regulations, vaccinations, micro-chipping and tagging.

The specially designed Saluki of Arabia Club welcomes curious visitors to their Bedouin tent, where they learn about the ancient Arabian heritage of hunting in the desert and the art of breeding these formidable Desert Hounds who, for thousands of years, have been an integral part of the Arabian hunting culture.

In true family spirit, we cater to our youngest visitors as well, by ensuring they have a great selection of entertainment options at hand.

The 2013 PEDIGREE® & WHISKAS® Dubai Pet Show displays tangible community flair by featuring a lovely Craft Fair which is supported by local organisations and small businesses selling books, hand-made jewellery, trinkets and pet products.

Our Competitions are one of the favourite features of the show and are judged by highly qualified experts with many years of experience judging dog shows around the world. The show's visiting judges fly from the UK specifically to partake in this amazing event and select the best Crossbreed, Dog Fancy Dress and the Happiest Dog of the show, to name a few.
